Lets Talk: Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

So, lets talk about Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy spin off series, Bloodlines-which is set to release this coming Wednesday Aug 23rd.  I am curious about how people are feeling about this new series.

I have not read The Vampire Academy series, but I have heard A LOT about it. So I'm going to jump on the band wagon and read Bloodlines. I think it'll be kind of fun. Probably a little confusing, but still. The video below is Richelle talking about the new series and what readers can expect. I would think that fans of The Vampire Academy series would be totally stoked to read this one, I know when a series that I have loved ended I want more, so this is perfect.

Any Vampire Academy fans? Are you excited for the new series? and what are you hoping will happen? Leave a comment and let me know. Also make sure to stop by on Sept 9th for my review.

  1. I'm really excited to read from Sydney's POV because I know it'll be so different from Rose's. And I have to say I'm super stoked for ADRIAN because he was my favourite in Vampire Academy (even though I adore Rose and Dimitri together as well).

I'm so psyched for the new series... I can't wait for my preorder to get here. I keep hoping it'll come early, haha.

  2. Oh, girl. You gotta read VA at some point! I think you'll be able to read and love Bloodlines w/o having read the VA series but I still strongly suggest it. I think you will love it. : )

  4. I haven't read the Vamp Academy books yet either, but I won't give in and read Bloodlines. LOL Although I'm really tempted!

Richelle's Succubus series is really good too! I'm always trying to pimp that one out b/c it was my first introduction to her writing and I looooove Georgie. :p
