Top 5 YA Couples.

Well hello lovelies!

I haven't done a lot of reading in the last couple weeks and it's going to be even less in the next few. But I was browsing around and came across a post at the YA Fantasy Guide called Young Adult Romance which is basically a list of their top 10 YA romance novels.  I thought this was a brilliant idea and thought I would do a response post sharing my favourite YA couples and from which books.  Cause it's spring and love is in the air. 

So here goes...

Belly and Conrad from The Summer I Turned Pretty/It's not Summer Without You. By Jenny Han

I love this series and I love this couple! I was sad when Conrad rejected Belly at the end of book 2.  I am so excited for We'll Always Have Summer which is out in later next month. 

Dara and Gwen from The Hunter's Moon by OR Melling

This was one of the first YA novels I ever read about 14 years ago. 

I loved it and I loved Dara and Gwen. Greatest couple ever. Gwen a

Canadian girl out to save her cousin from the fae and Dara a hot Irish

guy who wants to help. What more could you ask for?

Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling.

This was one pairing that I had been waiting for from the beginning and I loved every minute of their awkward courtship. Never have two people been more meant for each other then Ron and Hermione. I loved it!  

Jace and Clary from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I only liked this couple in this book, because after they were brother and sister their passion made me uncomfortable. Haha. I'll probably like them more in City of Fallen Angels which is out next week!  But anywho;  you can't have a list of YA couples without mentioning Clay and Jace. Like really. 

Megan and Ash from The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

I have only read the Iron King (every time I go to the bookstore the never have the other two), but I have a thing for boys who try to be tough but are defeated when it comes to the girl they love.  Prince Ash is a prime example. It's cute. He tries so hard to resist. Anywho I loved their little relationship and once I can get my hands on the other two I'm sure I will continue to love it!

There are a million other power couples out there I know, but I probably haven't read those books yet. But feel free to leave a comment about your favourite YA couple.

Jonah and Taylor from Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. 

This is one of the best books I have ever read and one of the most beautiful couples. I loved them (Uhhh, I loved him). But this totally deserves an honourable mention.
