Book Chat: Book to Movie Adaptations (my very first video blog).

Ok, be kind.

Misty over at The Book Rat had this really great idea about doing a weekly Book Chat feature. Which I thought was a pretty cool idea. She wanted to make it fun an different so she suggested that participants do a video. I had been thinking about doing some kind of video for the blog for a few days and I thought this was a great idea. SO here it is. Be nice. I was very nervous.

You can find out everything you need to know about the feature here.

Book mentioned: Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.

~Happy Reading Everyone!

  1. Yay for first vlogs!! They can be really fun, I promise. :)
And thanks for participating! You should submit it as a video response so that other people who watch my version will see yours listed and will come to your channel.
(If you don't know how to do that, message me or something and I'll walk you through it)

    Thanks for participating!!

  4. It was a great vlog!!!
    :D
And I'm with you, I love Interview with the Vampire, I watch it at least once a year even if it means I walk around with my hand covering the veins in my neck for the next week or so.

You're right, that's back when Brad Pitt could act (though my favorite movies with him are Legends of the Fall and Sleepers, but they are around that time too).

Anyway, I love this feature and I loved your vlog.:D

  5. You did a great job and also you didn't make it too long, which I like. I agree with you, I liked the movie too. I thought they did a great job. I did love the book as well and thought they captured a lot of the emotion in the movie too. I really do not like Tom Cruise, but I have to say I was very impressed with his performance as Lestat.

  7. I would be so awkward if I ever did a vlog so I think you did an amazing job. I've only ever seen the movie, unfortunately, so I can't speak to the book to movie translation but I LOVE this movie too!
